About the Author
George Samuel Clason was born in Louisiana, Missouri, on November 7th, 1874. He attended the University of Nebraska and served in the United States Army during the Spanish-American War. A successful businessman, he founded the Clason Map Company of Denver, Colorado and published the first road atlas of the United States and Canada. In 1926, he issued the first of a famous series of pamphlets on thrift and financial success, using parables set in ancient Babylon to make each of his points. These were distributed in large quantities by banks and insurance companies and became familiar to millions, the most famous being “The Richest Man in Babylon,” the parable from which the present volume takes its title. These “Babylonian parables” have become a modern inspirational classic.

Great Book!

I really enjoyed the simplicity of the lessons the writer was trying to convey. I did have to use more effort to read the speech of the characters, as its written with phrases such as "thou hast" and "thy." Overall, the lessons are probably ones we learn growing up, but the stories make it work the read. Each chapter is like a short story, this makes it great for short reads while on breaks at work. There are minor grammatical errors, but I'm not bothered by these. I would definitely recommend to all wanting to enrich themselves.

A classic , straight forward and simple to understand. Also, a good read. Anyone who doesn't know "How" to acquire savings and wealth should read this book. I use it as a basic text for my financial classes. My students get it. 9 parts in 10.

A Book that Must Be Read Before University

I am regretting that no one told me about this book 15 years back when I was in University. The book has a nice real life stories sequence that one could benefit from it for his personal and business life.
I started with the Audible version which was nice and will start reading it now to note down the important points that I can refer to them in the future.
You will not regret buying this book because it has lessons that you will be surprised will work in our days although it was thought during the Babylon era..
