Arina Tanemura began her manga career in 1996 when her short stories debuted in Ribon magazine. There was a big plot line featuring Rurijo and Sakura in this volume. I think I’m interested in Rurijo more than Sakura, and really just hope that Rurijo turns out okay. There was a lot of change for her in this volume, and hopefully it’s for the best. There was also a big change for Asagiri, that I found very sad, but is probably really fitting and not terribly surprising. There was a confrontation with Enju, and I’m not really sure what’s going to happen next.

I wish I was more involved, more emotional, for this series, but I’m just not. I’m just not attached enough to the main characters, or any of the characters really. I want to be, but I’m not.

Either way, the next volume is the last, which I wasn’t expecting. I don’t really know how it’s going to end, but I do look forward to seeing how it happens. And I definitely want some closure for everything between Enju, and for Kohaku and Hayate and Shuri. Their whole relationship is a mess, and I want something to be done about that. I’ll find out in February, I guess.

I really enjoyed this book!

this manga and the entire series contains three elements which is a must for me when I read manga. A good manga to me must be strongly supernatural, be romantic, and be action packed as well, and luckily this manga is full of all three of those elements that make a great manga. I would recommend this manga for people 14 years and older. This manga does contain mild romantic and fantasy violence scenes which may not be appropriate for younger age groups.

This volume was really good although it did have several sad scenes in it. I am looking forward to the next volume and finding out how everything works out for all the different characters.

The authors, who work with A.T. Kearney and KPMG Peat Marwick, offer their particular method of training consultants to write proposals. They clearly distinguish proposals from internal reports: proposals don't have an answer but seek to sell a service to find an answer. The strengths of this title are its practicality, logical development, and detail. It points out trouble spots such as clients who don't know what they want or organizations with conflicting goals. It offers specific language for specific kinds of proposals, e.g., identify and compare for a market survey; develop and recommend for a planning project. The features that make it useful for teaching in a corporate or academic setting include reviews and summaries, checklists and worksheets, and a real-world case study. Unfortunately, like similar works, it invents its own jargon (hot buttons, PIP, SI) and takes swipes at English teachers. It is more thorough and realistic than many similar titles, however, and may be of interest to business collections and technical writing programs.

Since my book is mentioned in a couple of these reviews, I thought I would respond.
I used Rich Freed's book for years in my consulting practice and MBA classes. It's a great book, and I *highly* recommend it. It's clearly one of the best treatments on writing business proposals available.
But comparing my book on proposals to Freed's is like comparing apples and oranges. My book is aimed at people who work in scientific and technical disciplines. Freed's book is written toward business applications. These two books are designed to work in two completely different arenas.
Buy this book. As an experienced proposal writer and consultant, I believe it's the best book on writing business proposals. It's truly innovative, and it offers wonderful strategies for winning contracts in highly competitive business environments.

The book takes you through a step-by-step methodology for creating a business proposal. It focuses on meeting the clients needs to create a winning proposal. It lacks a convincing example that could go with the current market requirements.The templates for creating the proposal are a good help and I would recommend this book to new and seasoned proposal writers.

This is an outstanding instructional on how to create effective communications, particularly with clients/customers. It is aimed at consultants, but really applies to communications broadly--whether you're presenting a proposal to a prospective client, or trying to convince your boss to give you a raise.
It takes the essence of Barbara Minto's "pyramid principle" of organization and adds to it audience evaluations, audience perspectives, and general guidance on how to make your communication well-received. It highlights common assumptions and errors on the part of any author, and truly makes a writer put him/herself in the shoes of the audience.
It's an easy read at a bargain price, and I've recommended it to everyone with whom I work. Well worth the price!

About the Author
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jana DeLeon was raised in southwest Louisiana among the bayous and gators. Her hometown is Carlyss, but you probably won't find it on a map. Her family owned a camp located on a bayou just off the Gulf of Mexico that you could only get there by boat. The most important feature was the rope hammock hanging in the shade on a huge deck that stretched out over the water where Jana spent many hours reading books. Jana and her brother spent thousands of hours combing the bayous in a flat-bottom aluminum boat, studying the natural habitat of many birds, nutria and alligators. She would like you to know that no animals were injured during these "studies," but they kept makers of peroxide in business. Jana has never stumbled across a mystery or a ghost like her heroines, but she's still hopeful. She now resides in Dallas, Texas, with the most spoiled Sheltie in the world.

Am I the only one who realized the mistakes in the facts of the characters? Luc worked for the DEQ in the first 3 books, not the DEA. Big difference between Department of Environmental Quality and Drugs. Also, 2/3rds of the way thru the book when they go the cemetery Colt is with them, in the next chapter they r hiding the key so that he doesn't find out they took it...WHAT? I liked these books which is why I downloaded the 4th in the series. I'm not even finished with it yet but it has me doubting what I read. PLEASE find a better editor, I am with the other person who said that they didn't like to edit as they r reading.

I read this book in one day, I could not put it down.This book is only one in Jana's series. Read them ALL. Dear Helena what a riot! Keep them coming Jana your books are fantastic!

Helena is back!!!!

Helena Henry is back wreaking havoc on Mudbug, and funny as ever! Love the new characters, Colt and Jadyn, and so glad that the series will continue with them. Great twists at the end I did not see coming. I read The Helena Diaries right before I picked this fourth book up, and it was a great refresher for those who haven't read the first book in the series in a while.
